This is crazy, but I love it

PS, thanks CGB
From my recent trip to Paris, I’ve uploaded just the first of a load of very nice photos on to Flickr.
You can see them by clicking this link. Please do comment if you like them, oh and the always brilliant, up-to-date feed is available to subscribe to from here. Enjoy!
Amazing as it is, I get bored at home, so playing with this entertains me. Its blue, and it has a much simplified homepage which was inspired by another site I was browsing earlier today. I really wanted the background to be a lighter colour (as I like this website to look light and bright) and I wanted to use this photo…
…but I couldn’t find the original so I had to settle for a cropped load of sky from another nice photo I have. I think it looks pretty decent, although I really cannot be bothered to test it with stupid Internet Explorer.
Enjoy! It’s likely that it won’t be here for long!

Foote Farm, MB, Canada
Taken during my stay in Canada, on the side of an old truck. The texture is nice, along with the colour as well as I like the typography.

There’s a whole load more of these photos available from my flickr, all taken around the farm. Go over to flickr now to have a look.
Today, a brand new section of this site is launched. Articles contains a whole load of new content written by me, which I hope may be interesting or useful to people searching online for information. The first topics to be released are on Kings Norton and detailed information on Photography and some studied photographers.
Comments on this feature are very welcome. These are the first set of articles, I hope to add a few more over the next couple of months.
I’m sure I drew something like this in a Product Design GCSE lesson once, which is strange, cos I drew my product design lamp before I drew this. Enjoy – its a scribble of mon maison (although, I think they call it chez nous or something like that!)

Rob Parker Original!
UPDATE: By the way, just noticed that its actually reversed in this image – whoops!
New, just a little play…

Its a bit dodgy, but I think it could be good. The photos are taken from my flickr – click on the Elsewhere tab at the top to get to it!
For the second part of this easter special set, and on Easter Sunday, here is my special easter egg…

Sadly, its not all of my own creation this time!

Shotton Farm, Northumberland
My favourite photo from a series taken on the farm I stayed on last weekend. Click here to see more photos from the trip and a nice slideshow. Please go and have a look.

There’s a little change for today, the Rob Parker logo that appears at the top of every page of this website has been replaced by a special Mother’s Day image. I’ve credited the very useful source image I used from Flickr below.
I hope you like it, how well do you think it works?
Over time, I hope to develop a few of these for special occasions, so look out for them!

Single daffodil, uploaded on 15th March, 2007 by nutmeg66
Taken at work today – brightening up the room (and making my eyes water with its perfume). I find daffodils tricky to photograph close up; they give me all sorts of DofF problems!
Handheld, natural light.
